- Vegan (Sisley): Sisley products are almost entirely free from animal derived ingredients. Twelve products contain raw materials of animal origin : honey, carmine (red pigment made from an insect, the cochineal), beeswax and marine collagen.
- Pregnancy Safety (Sisley): We have not had any side effects reported by pregnant women using our products. However, pregnancy is a special physiological condition and any claim concerning the safety of a product should be based on performance and safety tests. Sisley has not conducted such tests on pregnant women, and is therefore unable to make any recommendation yet. For this reason, we recommend that any woman who wishes to use Sisley products during pregnancy and has questions about the subject seek advice from a doctor who will provide the appropriate information. Sisley recommends avoiding the use of body products containing essential oils during breastfeeding, to avoid any possible consequences for breast milk.
